Expert gynaecologist in assisted reproduction with a broad international career path. During the more than 15 years that he has been working in the field of reproductive medicine, he has worked in prestigious centres all over the world.

Academic background

Degree in Medicine and Surgery, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1991. After passing the Residency exam, he specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in hospital Doce de Octubre in Madrid, between 1994 and 1997. That last year he was admitted into fellowship in the Florida hospital in Orlando, where he became interested in Assisted Human Reproduction.

Professional experience

Since January 1998 until now he has worked in different clinics for assisted reproduction, accumulating an experience of over 15 years studying and treating infertility:

  • 1998-2001. Specialist physician at Clínica FIV MADRID.
  • 2002-2003. Medical director at ARGGORA (La Coruña)
  • 2004-2009. Medical director at Clínica Tambre (Madrid)
    IVF Consultant at London Women’s Clinic (UK)
  • Medical director at Instituto Marqués (Barcelona)
  • Since 2012 he is responsible for setting up a new clinic for human reproduction in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates)

Additional information

During this period, apart from assisting his patients, he has continued training, attending numerous courses in Europe and the US (Master in Assisted Reproduction at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, European Diploma of endoscopic surgery at Université de Clermont Ferrand, Assisted reproduction course at University of New York, etc.). Currently he is working and registered as specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and as IVF Consultant in Spain, the UK and UAE. Due to this international profile, he is up to date on the ins and outs of the different legislations regarding human reproduction in different countries. He is an expert in carrying out assisted reproduction treatments with international patients.
